YouTube
YouTube is a video sharing service where music videos are frequently posted. Views on music videos posted on Youtube are part of every music show's score system.
Step 1: Set Up Your Browser or YouTube App
Make sure you are logged into your YouTube Account on a regular browser.
Do not use an incognito or private browser. Use your regular browser.
YouTube premium users should use their premium account for best results.
You can also use a YouTube premium trial to maximize your streaming.
Make sure you only have one YouTube page open at a time on your entire device.
This includes different tabs on the same browser and different browsers.
Make sure your YouTube player's volume is not muted.
On a computer ONLY, you can mute the tab or your computer itself, but not the YouTube player.
On a mobile device, you can plug in or connect headphones without wearing them. Do not mute your device.
Make sure you have turned off autoplay.
You can turn off autoplay by making sure that the slider next to the closed caption button at the bottom of the screen has a pause symbol on the left side.
Make sure your streaming quality is set to at least 480p. We recommend streaming at 1080p or higher.
On the YouTube app for phone or tablet, go to profile > settings > Video quality preferences. Then, set both mobile networks and Wi-Fi to "Higher picture quality."
On your computer or mobile browser, you'll have to set this manually each time you watch the video.
Make sure you don't have an ad blocker or VPN on.
Step 2: Start Watching Videos
Manually search for the music video.
Use the search function on the YouTube website/app.
Do not use a direct link or a playlist.
Watch the video all the way to the end.
If you get a skippable ad, you may skip it.
Do not skip, pause, loop, or change the speed of the video.
Do not refresh the page.
Do not leave the tab or split screen with another app/program.
After watching the video, like, make a comment, and share the video on social media.
Do not spam the comments. This will not help the video trend, and will instead flag your account as a bot. One comment per stream is enough.
Each comment you make should be unique and relevant to the video.
You can also reply to other comments under the video.
Once the video is over, find 3-4 different videos to watch. Each video should be at least two minutes long. You may look in the recommended feed for videos. Try to watch videos from different channels (Muply, Dingo, KCON, 1theK, etc).
Note: Watching videos from the trending tab can help also increase the chances of trending the main video!
Repeat the process from step 1, until you are finished streaming.
Do not clear your YouTube watch history or your browser's cache when repeating the process.
You may notice views occasionally freeze or slow down, especially in the first few hours after the video is uploaded. This is normal and happens to most music videos that gain many views at once. Do not stop streaming if you notice this, as this is just YouTube filtering bot-like views.

Frequently Asked Questions
The views have slow/frozen for a long time. Should I stop streaming?
No. Videos can take up to 3 days to get caught up on views. Your views will still be counted, just a bit later.
Why are views being deleted? Is this normal?
This is normal. Invalid views are deleted every 24 hours from the time the video is uploaded. For example, if a video is uploaded on August 19th at 6pm KST, you may see a drop in views on August 20th at 6pm KST, and every day after that. You can reduce the impact of invalid views by making sure to stream using our guidelines above.
Can I use an app like Scener to stream music videos for me?
After reviewing various tests of Scener, we have determined that the use of Scener is very risky and can result in the mass deletion of YouTube views.
The positive Scener tests we reviewed mainly consisted of groups of 15 or less streamers that did not include large-scale music videos receiving high view counts. Therefore, we cannot confidently endorse the use of Scener for a widespread release, given the lack of evidence of its benefits.
Do I have to watch all the ads that come up on the music video?
No. Watching ads does not count as a view on the music video and does not contribute significantly more revenue to the artist. You can skip any skippable ad.
What videos should I use as filters?
We recommend the following types of videos to be used as filters:
Fancams
Alternate versions (dance practices, choreography versions, etc.)
Alternate music video uploads (ex. 1theK uploads)
Music show stages
Any unrelated/meme video that is 2 to 5 minutes long.
Do fan-uploaded videos (ex. color coded lyrics, 'it goes faster', etc.) count as views on the official music video?
No. Only views on the official music video on the artist's channel and 1theK count as views on the official music video.
Do official choreography videos, fancams, performance videos, etc. count as views on the official music video?
No. Only views on the official music video on the artist's channel and 1theK count as views on the official music video.
